There are few things in my life that have scared me as much as the smell of the box my girlfriend used to keep her shoes in. Until that fateful day I wasn’t aware that women were capable of such evil (I led a very sheltered life). I am telling you this as its starting to get warmer, I had lunch outdoors today and as soon as my hypothermia fades I’m jolly well going to declare it the start of summer, which means you need new shoes (obviously).
There are a number of choices that you need to make, let alone the great sock/no sock debate, for which we simply don’t have time, save to say this; the aforementioned girlfriend shoebox would have had much less of an impact if only she wore socks occasionally, like maybe just once a week, please? Anyway, I digress, you need new shoes, both for work and for not work therefore I have spent days trawling the internet to find you the best ones and the best places to buy them from, just because I’m nice, I didn’t buy any of them myself, honest:
The best website I’ve found yet to get proper shoes really really cheap. You’re probably going to have to go to at least a few formal occasions this summer so why not stop people from laughing at a grown man still wearing his school shoes?
You can be forgiven for not knowing that the best online trainer store in the world is based in Britain, it is and now you do. Buying trainers here from here will make you better than all of friends, its been proven*, besides, just look at these:

Also did you know that its perfectly acceptable for men to wear flip flops, so long as your feet don’t look like this guys:
I’m not about to suggest you can wear them to the office but a walk around my local park will show far more unacceptable bare flesh than the sight of your pasty white feet. Sandals are another matter entirely, I’ve never been comfortable with them myself, for some reason every bloke I’ve ever seen in sandals looks like his mum bought him them, I’m not sure why but its true.
Now we reach the section of today’s lesson (yes, lesson) that includes the slightly more risqué choices, I wont judge you for wearing any of these but that doesn’t mean that society wont:
Now it can be argued that in a certain light those look a bit silly, you’re not 6 anymore so maybe they aren’t for you. I tried a pair of these on and might never recover, its like walking around with your feet inside a pillow, they are that comfortable.
